Payment and Refund Policy

Last updated: 4 November 2026

Scope of This Policy

This Payment and Refund Policy applies to all purchases of courses, training modules, live sessions, and related professional development services offered through journoza. It covers digital access to content on studio equipment integration, dynamic camera techniques, acoustic optimisation, lighting setups, and reliable production processes for news programmes, interviews, and live shows. The policy governs transactions made by customers located in the United Kingdom and explains how payments are processed and when refunds may be available.

Prices, Currencies, Taxes and Additional Charges

All prices are displayed in British Pounds Sterling. Value Added Tax at the prevailing UK rate is included where applicable for consumers. Additional charges such as currency conversion fees imposed by your payment provider or bank may apply and are outside the control of journoza. No hidden fees are added after checkout; the total amount shown before payment confirmation is the amount due.

Accepted Payment Methods, Authorisation and Security

Payments are accepted via major credit and debit cards, bank transfers, and approved digital wallets. Authorisation occurs at the point of purchase and funds are held until the transaction is completed or cancelled. All payments are processed through secure third-party gateways that comply with UK data protection standards including the Data Protection Act 2018 and UK GDPR. journoza does not store full card details.

Order Confirmation and Contract Formation

Upon successful payment an order confirmation email is sent immediately. The contract between you and journoza is formed when the confirmation is issued. Access credentials or course materials are then made available through your account dashboard. Until confirmation is received no binding agreement exists.

Cancellation Rights and Applicable Periods

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of purchase during which you may cancel without giving a reason. Digital content and live services that have begun with your express consent before the end of this period may not be cancelled once delivery has started. Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via the contact form on the Contacts page.

Refund Eligibility, Exclusions and Non-Refundable Items

Refunds are available within the 14-day period if access has not commenced. Once you have started a course module, attended a live session or downloaded materials the service is considered used and refunds are not granted. Promotional bundles, gift certificates and customised training packages are non-refundable. Services already delivered in full are excluded from refund claims.

Step-by-Step Procedure to Request a Refund

To request a refund log into your account, navigate to the order history section and submit a cancellation request. Alternatively use the contact form on the Contacts page providing your order number, full name, email address and reason for the request. Requests must be received within the applicable time limits. Incomplete submissions will be returned for additional information.

Inspection, Approval, Rejection and Notification

Each request is reviewed within ten working days. You will receive an email confirming receipt followed by a decision notice. Approved refunds are processed automatically. Rejected requests include an explanation and information on any appeal process available under UK consumer law.

Refund Method, Processing Time and Receipt of Funds

Refunds are returned to the original payment method. Processing typically takes five to ten working days after approval, although your bank or card issuer may require additional time. You will be notified once the refund has been issued. Chargeback fees resulting from unauthorised disputes may be deducted from future refunds where permitted by law.

Special Rules for Digital Content, Subscriptions and Services

Digital courses are supplied immediately upon purchase. By ticking the consent box at checkout you agree that the 14-day cancellation period ends once access begins. Subscription renewals are charged automatically unless cancelled at least seven days before the renewal date. Live production workshops are treated as services and are subject to the same cooling-off rules with the exception of sessions already attended.

Failed Payments, Duplicate Charges, Chargebacks and Suspected Fraud

Failed payments must be resolved within seven days or the order will be cancelled. Duplicate charges detected by our system are automatically refunded within forty-eight hours. Suspected fraudulent activity leads to immediate account suspension and reporting to relevant UK authorities. You are responsible for notifying journoza of any unauthorised transactions promptly.

Mandatory Consumer Rights

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 or UK GDPR. If any term is found unenforceable the remaining provisions continue to apply. Disputes may be referred to the courts of England and Wales or resolved through approved alternative dispute resolution schemes.

Contact Route, Policy Changes and Last-Updated Date

Questions about this policy should be directed to info@nfts.co.uk or via the contact form on the Contacts page. journoza may update the policy to reflect changes in law or business practice. The current version is always available on this page and the last-updated date appears at the top. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
